An oil painting on canvas stretched over cedar stretcher bars.
This is a studio work inspired by a small sketch painted in Glenorchy New Zealand.
This track wanders up the Reese valley over farmland to a precipice on the distant mountain Named by the locals lovers leap. I'm not sure if any one has leapt off lovers leap, but the name adds character to the classic rural New Zealand town
The painting goes around the edges of the stretcher bars so there is no need for a frame, but adding a nice frame will lift the painting to another level.
Size: 1000 mm long by 700 mm wide by 40 mm
